The problem is the committee ranked ND ahead of Bama/Miami to close the season only for them to switch it up with 0 justification (more so Bama as I had no problem w/ Miami getting in over ND).

The 2 loses were for a combined 4pts before we were a full two weeks into September with a Fr. QB figuring things out. Clearly rounding into one of the better teams to close the season.

@DanWolken This shouldn’t be hard. If Bama gets blown out by Georgia, it should be both Miami and ND in. BYU is out for the same reason as Bama.

If you remove the Colorado series, they’re 7-12 in their last 19 games.

@JonRothstein Terrible idea, but I do like not having the tournament champs play in the 1st Four, with one caveat: unless the team didn’t also win their reg season. For example, the NEC regular season & playoff winner would avoid the play-in, but the NEC #5 seed winning the playoffs would not.

@trife76 @JDBunkis Haha it is progress. It sucks because it certainly should have been more, but to say this isn’t progress is ludicrous. The thing is, the expectations were rightfully high and they failed to meet them, but the past two summers show incredible growth from where this program was.

@MR_STiXX Canada should be the more talented team, just as they were this year. However, it was a bad time to play their worst basketball. For whatever reason, they had no urgency and looked uncomfortable at the start of the game. This proved to be too much to overcome.
