@DrB365@Tonysmarkettips If you are clamoring that a journalist is somehow being unethical, you can’t yourself cover up the names of journalists you claim are bullying you unethically into dropping a story coverage. That makes zero sense
So I would say WHY would you not mention those trying to cover up the story? I’m serious
If I had a dollar for every writer that ever “didn’t like my content” or “wanted me to stop” and I never felt the need to not share that.
I’ve received private messages from 3 different NFL writers in the last 48 hours - they are all names you know and all have followings over 60k.
The theme is that they want me to know they don’t like my content but also don’t want to engage further about it. 2 declined phone calls to talk about their opinions of my content. All 3 have encouraged me to stop talking about the Vrabel - Russini story.
Nobody mentioned my call out saying beat writers should be asking their head coaches tough questions — but I suspect that is what triggered these messages.
@dillonherbert Oh no, when I was there they did come on. Thomas Dimitroff, Rich McKay, Arthur Blank annually. First thing I’m doing is upon my re-arrival is getting that stuff fixed. It won’t be broken due to my lack of trying I promise you and they are good people in FB
@fitdadceo@V_tabs1984 Aren’t you a little old for Dude? That aside…you must have a different feed or poor reading comprehension. Whatever it is, you bore me. Goodnight
@fitdadceo@V_tabs1984 OR if you make claims of reporters being unethical and then other reporters are unethical with you trying to kill the story, you don’t comply to cooperate. You know, integrity. It’s pretty simple. Don’t call out behavior if you practice it
@JP7424 I’m not doubting him on this Rossini story on a lot of it we agree. I am saying if “writers” are telling him to drop the story HE should call them out. They are unethical journalists. If he doesn’t he is participating in the same behavior he is decrying. Just the facts.
@Tonysmarkettips A legit journalist sharing with you is worthy of protected status. One trying to bully you or cover up a story is not. In fact, you not sharing their names is you condoning their unethical behavior. You’re better, so be better
@Tonysmarkettips No, it’s hard for me to believe that you won’t share the names of “writers” telling you to “drop the story”
If that ever happened why would I give a damn about protecting their identities? They are unethical journalists and isn’t that what you are implying here? So call them out
