Of course nothing will ever top the Anfield experience for a Liverpool fan….. but Raymond Jones Stadium in Tampa might just be the greatest stadium I’ve been to…an old fashioned, imposing cathedral of sport, complete with pirate ship!

In 1989, the Soviet Union had a trade deal with Pepsi. Because the ruble had no international value at the time, the USSR paid Pepsi in warships, including 17 subs, briefly making Pepsi the world's 6th largest navy.
Did the USMNT get a win against two elite teams right before the World Cup? No.
Did we at least learn some valuable lessons to take into the summer? Also no.
But did we at least have fun while watching our favorite team play soccer? No.
“We can’t replace Evander, but Dado has had an excellent preseason,” Noonan said. “So I think the confidence of the group (was high) knowing that our depth was going to be able to step in and continue to perform.”
“Solid performance from him.”

@SGolazok Went to this one - great game but a shame only 5,200 fans with stadium capacity 25,500. Ticket prices a real challenge along with severe weather which interrupted the match for 90 minutes. FIFA charging WAY too much for these games.
@xJonNYC In my experience passport control at MXP can take quite a while (traveling on U.S. passport). Security is pretty efficient and didn’t take long at all
@tgreathouse10 They aren't Brazil or Argentina but Türkiye and Switzerland are actually good teams. We, on the other hand, are not a good team. We don't even look mediocre here. Like a college team against professionals.
@five_takes@Denzell_Of_NSH@PROreferees contact that is unnecessary has a much lower threshold to be excessive force than if he was involved in play in some way.
@craigaroo@JoserNunez91 The appropriate criteria for a red card here is excessive force. Force is considered excessive when it is disproportionate to what is needed for the play. It is a much lower threshold when away from the ball and not challenging.
