Zohran Mamdani going to the 9/11 Memorial Ceremony on Friday will be the single most disrespectful act to the families of the victims of that day.
He handed a ceremonial pen to Ramzi Kassem — his chief counsel, the lawyer who represented an Al-Qaeda terrorist whose sister was married to one of the Pentagon hijackers.
He didn’t give it to a firefighter’s widow.
He didn’t give it to an FDNY chief.
He didn’t give it to a victim’s family member.
Now he wants to stand at Ground Zero on Friday like he belongs there.
The families have asked him not to come.
Giuliani told him not to come.
A 100,000 people signed a petition telling him not to come.
Ground Zero is a sacred place, not a photo-op for a mayor who just handed a 9/11 souvenir to an Al-Qaeda defense lawyer.
Stay away.
Your presence is a slap in the face to every family still burying pieces of their loved ones 25 years later.
Never forget.
@StevePalazzolo_ Been doing it for years. You can replace his name with Dan Arnold, Tommy Lee Lewis, Brandon Coleman, ect. Ball always finds them in the playoffs
