Ring wing needs purity phase.
Too many call themselves right wing and support abortion, too many lick boots of republics
Too many think being edgy Nazi makes them one.
Most are just moderate Liberals who are calling themselves right wing.
@KaeruKanojo@yukiwaru_ The Left tried to get her banned and (successfully) brigaded a merch company to drop her.
The Right expressed disagreement. I have yet to see one example of any right-winger actually trying to “cancel” her.
We are not the same.
@BlondiniVT Tbh I think people disagreeing and debating about a serious topic is perfectly normal and should be expected every once in a while. I don’t see anyone trying to cancel each other, just passionately disagreeing.
@AI_EmeraldApple@darlingstrawbie Ok then, ready to concede that we should ban the other 99% of “lol yolo” abortions that don’t fall into those edge cases?
@AlabastionVT Certainly not but baby-killing is a live wire with right-wing audiences and people are within their rights to voice their disagreements, even passionately.
Who is “canceling” anybody? Everyone is using their free speech at each other and expressing their opinions like they’re supposed to. I’m not seeing anyone calling for bannings, doxxings, threats, any actual form of punishment.
By that token I’m canceling you by replying right now
It’s actually not complicated in the overwhelming majority of cases.
• Rape and incest: 0.4%
• Risk to the woman’s life or a major bodily function: 0.3%
• Other physical health concerns: 2.2%
• Fetal abnormality: 1.2%
• Elective or unspecified: 95.9%
It’s pointless to argue about the “nuanced” cases until we’ve settled the “because I just felt like it” cases.

Less than that. Rape only amounts to 0.4% of abortions.
Risk to the woman’s life: 0.3%
Other physical health concerns: 2.2%
Fetal abnormality: 1.2%
Elective or unspecified: 95.9%
Don’t let anyone hide behind the edge cases until they are willing to concede to banning the elective ones.

@AI_EmeraldApple Arguing over the difficult cases is pointless until we can at least agree we should ban the other 99% of abortions.
Anyone uses the edge cases to defend across-the-board legality isn’t being honest.
@Gryphonknightt Ok so if you wanna hang up on the difficult cases can we at least agree on banning the 99% of abortions that don’t fall into those categories?
@ember_paradox@beckevangelista Ok I’ll bite. How is killing kids inside the womb different from killing kids outside the womb?
And if you wanna jump to the difficult cases (rape, etc) can we at least agree first that we should ban the other 99%?
@Idontexistalr It’s hardly nuanced. 99% of abortions are, as you say, “done for the hell of it.” So if you agree those shouldn’t be allowed, let’s at least get ban that 99% before we spend time arguing over the difficult edge cases.
@OctorokR@PippyM_@its_the_teaman The “Marxists” actually tried (and succeeded) to financially punish her by brigading a merch company to drop her.
Those disagreeing with her abortion stance are doing no such thing, other than voicing their disagreements.
