Dr. Kurtinitis’ retirement marks the conclusion of an extraordinary chapter of service to our community.

A true servant-leader, Dr. K has led with inclusivity, open communication, and a belief that every student matters.

I’ve had the privilege of working with Dr. Kurtinitis in several roles — as a CCBC Dundalk Foundation board member, as a State Delegate, Baltimore County Executive, and as a U.S. Congressman — and have seen firsthand her commitment to students and our community.

While we realized multiple accomplishments together, perhaps our greatest was in bringing tuition-free community college to Baltimore County.

I thank Dr. K for her years of leadership and wish her the very best in her next chapter.
