@Owennfa Minimum wage is poverty, I had to either share rent or live with my parents when I worked for min wage prior to military and college. That was 1987. Raising min wage will just raise prices. In the end, you can either provide shared misery or real opportunity via merit.

I valued success my entire life. I was driven, ambitious and I was relatively successful - which really just means that I was more successful than the people that were less successful than me. however, it was a chronically unsatisfactory life until ambition fell away and faithfulness and presence entered. I don’t know what else to tell you.
