Today, I convened my third Rural Healthcare Roundtable, bringing together 13 hospitals in Washington County to discuss the first-of-its-kind $50 billion Rural Health Transformation Program that we delivered in the Working Families Tax Cuts.

Direct input from hospitals is critical to making sure this investment strengthens rural hospitals, expands access, and delivers better care across Iowa.

MercyOne in Clinton is ending its labor and delivery services in part due to federal cuts to Medicare and Medicaid that have reduced reimbursements to hospitals.

This is a direct result of @RepFeenstra, @RepAshleyHinson, @RepMMM, and @ZachNunn voting for the largest cuts to Medicaid in history.
