I am starting to believe that institutions that already have their preferred candidates use it to avoid the masses from participating!

That system is a weapon formed against some of us. It is not serving its purpose. Calling their offices is where it gets more depressing.

I still do not understand why so many institutions continue to use NIEIS. The system is unreliable and extremely frustrating to deal with. For the past two weeks, I have been trying to reset my password so that I can apply for an opportunity, but the system simply does not send the password reset email. I can’t access my account, and the application deadline is today.

It is disappointing that a system intended to support applicants can create such unnecessary obstacles.

Oshana Governor Hofni Iipinge has hailed President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah as a hero after she reportedly spent N$200,000 from her own pocket, less than a year into her presidency, to help pay the medical bills of a young nursing student diagnosed with bone marrow cancer.

The student requires treatment in South Africa, but her family was unable to raise the necessary funds.

Iipinge said he approached the President for assistance, and she responded positively by offering her support.

He further said the President continues to demonstrate compassion and commitment towards Namibians, and urged leaders across the country to assist citizens wherever possible.
