A salon is getting ruthlessly attacked with ‘1 Star’ reviews because they had a Muslim woman come and although they tried their best to accommodate the Muslim, she still wasn’t happy

Because of her religion, the Muslims woman said there could be no males in the salon when she got her haircut, Islam forbids it

The salon has accommodated this hijab-wearing client before about a year ago. They did her hair in a back room, but the salon has gone through a remodel and now the back room is gone

The staff tried to book her when there were no male stylists working. She came in but the appointment took a long time, partially because of the language barrier

So she had to come in the next day to finish, but unfortunately there was now a male stylist in the building. So the solution was to have her wait until the male stylist left, and finish after the salon was closed

The Muslim woman’s husband got on the phone furious, told the staff not to interrupt him and refused to pay an after hours fee

After the male stylist left, they finished her haircut and the Muslim said she would never be back

Then the salon began getting hateful 1 Star reviews claiming their are anti- Muslim etc

We do NOT have to accommodate Muslim’s requests. This is America, they can assimilate or go home

The law says the salon doesn’t have to accommodate special requirements for Muslims

The law says a business cannot refuse service because of religion, but is NOT required to:

- Guarantee a men-free building during open hours
- Send a male employee home
- Lock the doors against delivery drivers and walk-ins because they might be male
- Recreate a private suite it no longer has
- Absorb extra labor at no charge because the client left early

We do not have to accommodate Muslims or their religion. If they want to live under Islamic rules, they can go live in Islamic countries, there are plenty to choose from. Assimilate or leave
