Of course that’s your contention. You’ve never given much thought to ground stations at all until you’ve received the AWS bill from your first satellite you launched 3 weeks ago. Now you’ve read CNBC’s “Disney star launches satellite data startup” and so now you are absolutely convinced that phased array technology is a key to completely revolutionize space data transmission, but before that, you thought that as access to space becomes commoditized the best way to drive connectivity prices down is to utilize economies of scale across a broad deployment of parabolic antennas, which will only last till next week when you’ll consider international licensing requirements and hope that your provider serves “seamless, cell-phone like handover”, which again will only last till your next industry convention where you will buy in the argument that “optical communication is the next big thing” and go back to your team suggesting you go all-in on optical downlink with no RF back-up.
What are we building at AnySignal?
1) An RF platform touching every layer to maximize performance and probability of mission success.
2) An amazing team of system thinkers and builders.
3) A Culture that builds on with first principles and ships.
I'm excited to start sharing more about the successes we've been stacking up, quietly.

Not sure i missed this
But 100% truth
Also super helpful if you're not 'escaping' from space into a field that is going to be utterly dominated by Starlink (ie. in-flight connectivity)
Another way is to escape the space trap. For example, Anysignal targets market way beyond the 300 or so smallsats per year, which makes them much more feasible as a VC backed components business
@E_Bruxxx I once heard about this company that got sued for reinventing aerospace (infrastructure) with only $5M of seed funding...
