A founder pitched me this week with spectacular numbers. But they opened with a two-minute backstory... By the time the traction slide came up, the room had half-decided they were ordinary. They weren't.
It's so sad to see what South Africa is doing to people coming from other African countries. The African Union has failed to sanction South Africa. This is a dehumanizing action against their fellow black men. The AU is a failed institution and should be restructured or closed
I get a rejection today but the only word I have is this ( Vision takes time, vision is a process, Vision takes work but only vision can come to pass )
I have to give credit to those African founders who have raised funds from VCs. Natada is in its seed stage, and going through the fundraising process has taught me a lot. I am presently learning, relearning, and unlearning at the same time.
Natada joined innovators & investors at the Nigeria Energy Conference 2025, exploring e-mobility, clean transport & energy access.
Exciting investor interest in our electric tricycles & smart charging systems—driving a greener future for campuses & communities! 🌍💚
Mechanical workshop established by Dave Umahi in Ebonyi is mass producing tricycle (in part through SKDs) that works without fuel. Solar panel is used to save costs for the short distance commute.
It's funny how this idea started in Hall B during a casual conversation about improving the tricycle system for students to move around the campus more easily. That's been our goal, and we'll start operations in Bells soon. #natadaride#bellscampus
There were also engaging conversations around the transition and adaptation of clean technologies across the continent.
I had the opportunity to pitch in the deal room, which exposed us to even greater opportunities and valuable learning experiences.
The event featured insightful discussions on the funding gaps in green energy projects and the importance of collaboration between governments, financial institutions, and project developers to bridge these gaps.
A few days ago,
Bishop Mike Okonkwo celebrated his 80th birthday and he invited the former VP Professor Yemi Osinbajo to speak.
Prof spoke on how the church in Nigeria today contributes heavily to the moral decay and corruption in society.
