Denied entry at PVR with my emergency hypo kit despite explaining I have #Type1diabetes The manager even said, "If you have this condition, you shouldn't come to watch a movie."
This is discrimination. Your staff need urgent awareness training. @_PVRCinemas
@smitabarooah Everyone should live minimum two years without taking a single paisa from parents or anyone else before claiming to know how the world works & how to fix it
62% of Indian resident doctors work more than 36 hours at a stretch. 86% report severe sleep deprivation. 97% earn less than an entry level civil servant. 76% are assaulted while on duty.
We can call ourselves civilised only when we learn to treat our doctors like they treat us.
Highway Hijacked by Goons? Family with Children Attacked on Mysuru Expressway
Is the Mysuru Expressway safe anymore?
The occupants of car KA 13 N 4610 allegedly attacked an entire family including a husband, wife, an elderly woman, and children in the middle of the busy Maddur stretch of the expressway at night.Beating up a family in the centre of a national highway is nothing short of highway hooliganism. If such brazen violence can happen on one of Karnataka's busiest roads, what safety can ordinary commuters expect?
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and the police must act immediately, identify the accused, and ensure strict legal action. Highways cannot be allowed to become playgrounds for road-rage goons.

People get fined for overspeeding, wrong parking, no seatbelt and many other violations.
But no government official is ever punished for robbing citizens of their basic dignity on the road.
@dpkBopanna The real first step is to understand why we are in this mess. Right intent, Expert civil works talent, Co-ordination not let historical political Intercession or non-meritocracy. Target building civil institutions such that tech evaluation need not be required by Minister Sir.
I have a cautionary tale for users of @theniyo 's forex card with @DCBBank. I used the card in a tube station (St Paul's) in London to top up my Oyster card. The tap did not work on the machine, it asked me to insert the card and enter the pin. Which I did, the transaction was declined. I then tried the same with my American Express. That too was declined. So I moved to the next machine, and tried the tap on the DCB card, it worked. A few minutes later, I get a message from Niyo congratulating me on activating international ATM transactions. And a few seconds after that, a message saying Rs 64,594 has been withdrawn from my account.
I reached out to Niyo customer support, who basically said I should write to DCB Bank. I did that. The customer support of the bank insisted a fraudulent ATM withdrawal cannot occur if the physical card is with me. They then said they will take three months to investigate this. But now, two weeks later, they have closed the case saying customer is at fault. Their assertion is that either I am lying about not making the transaction or that I have shared my card with someone. Neither is true. Their security systems are at fault, which is why there was no fraud on my Amex, even though the exact sequence of events happened with it.
I will file a cybercrime report when I back in India later this week. But quite disappointed that @theniyo 's and @DCBBank's response has been to wash their hands off the matter and blame the customer.
Whitefield in Bengaluru has 4.5 Lakh Residents (most of them working in IT, earning well & paying Income Tax).
Around 6000 - 8000 Crore of Income Tax is collected every year from them alone.
They do not deserve this !

Karnataka, in 2026 alone, has reported over 200,000 dog bite cases and 25 rabies deaths.
Every calculation you have ever done uses a system India invented.
Before Indian mathematicians gave the world zero and the decimal place, Greek and Roman maths used letters for numbers. Try multiplying MXLVII by CCXCIV. Merchants, architects and astronomers across the ancient world were trapped.
Baghdad's Al-Khwarizmi (c.780–847) transmitted it west. His book on the Indian place system and algorithmic calculation laid the foundation of modern mathematics. The word "algorithm" is a corruption of his name. "Algebra" comes from his treatise title. Both are Arabic transmissions of Indian originals.
Abraham Seidenberg's History of Mathematics credits India's Sulba Sutras as the inspiration for all mathematics of the ancient world.
Lin Yutang, Chinese philosopher: "India was China's teacher in trigonometry, quadratic equations, grammar, phonetics."
Carl Sagan thought Vedic cosmology the only ancient system whose timescales correspond to modern scientific cosmology.
Every time a computer runs, it counts in a system India designed.
Prof. Vinod K. Singh on Brain Drain in India
One of the biggest reasons people move abroad is better infrastructure, research ecosystem, and ease of life in Western countries.
After a certain point, salary doesn’t matter much. To truly reduce brain drain, India must build an ecosystem where talent can thrive.
@Mrtiwari The world has advanced so much now. We should ask government what kind and quantity of drone and AI is being used, planned across all vulnerable borders and provide a yearly progress stats in public forums to build people confidence @narendramodi@AmitShah

A man in Odisha dug up his deceased sister’s grave and brought her skeleton to the bank Just to prove she had died.
He had been trying to withdraw ₹20,000 from her account, but bank officials kept insisting he bring the account holder in person. Despite repeatedly telling them she had passed away, they didn’t listen.
Frustrated and unaware of the legal process, he took this extreme step.
This incident shows not just a lack of awareness, but also a failure of basic human understanding in the system.
@san_x_m Instead of you making his perspective let people know his view on why he is doing what he is doing with so much to sacrifice. World existing good side left is due to these heroes. Name, fame or material don't bother them @san_x_m
@san_x_m@rvaidya2000 So what should be done here.. should we let the country go in the wrong direction... What would have happened if Bhagat Singh not revolted... Mr Gulati is today's Bhagat Singh.
Dear @narendramodi ji,
As a citizen of our country, I believe FSSAI team is supposed to ensure that ZERO products are sold which are harmful to health of citizens. Atleast in the organised sector.
But clearly, adulterated food with high sugar, sodium & palm oil have been sold for decades, which have spoilt the health of an entire generation. Restaurants are serving fake paneer, color & chemicals. We all know this is true. Multiple times, it has been highlighted.
When any of us bring this out, it is purely so that steps are taken to regulate the Food better in our country.
We citizens deserve clean air, pure water & hygienic food. It's a bare minimum.
I hope Team FSSAI will take constructive steps to ensure that India becomes a Healthy Nation.
Hoping for the best,
#FI
