Gwe Alan Kasickness are you aware a chappati you used to buy at ugx.100 in the 90s first forward in 2026 it has added aka zero??

[Alan Kasujja @kasujja]

There’s a thing in Kenya where if you can’t afford a phone, you can get one on pay as you go basis..

Like this chap I met..

His phone was off because he needed to pay the day’s rate.

He’s being charged Ksh. 85 a day.

That’s $0.65 or Ugx 2500 or RwF 967.

Everyday.

If he doesn’t pay, it’s switched off remotely.

It’s like running out of credit.

It’s obviously not new, but I’m intrigued.

True traditional men commit themselves to protecting the heritage of their people.

Omusuga helplessly watched the Kingdom slowly slip into foreign influence, as the royal line gradually distanced itself from the customs that define Tooro’s identity.

His role now is to revive what was fading, ensuring that Tooro’s cultural foundations remain intact for future generations.

Thank you, Omusuga 🙏. You are the true hero of Tooro’s heritage.

[Kakwenza Rukirabashaija @KakwenzaRukira]

Every institution needs such a principled man! We as Bahororo have decided to give him a wife, in appreciation for his solid leadership and commitment to upholding the Tooro’s integrity.
