@SamStehbens I suspect having a whinge on twitter is not the most productive thing I can do in this case, but it's nice to get some support from others who've had previous experiences!
@SamStehbens Thanks for the comment! Also on the proposal are a Prof & A/Prof. Maybe I should have said they would provide mentoring? I was told by the assessor that one of them was only on there to increase the investigator score... because my track record was 'good but not outstanding'.
David and I had a wander through the @SAMuseum this afternoon - how time flies! The top photos are from 1 year ago, nice to know he still likes Mawson's Antarctic boulder ('big rock!') and the mineral gallery ❤️
To those who teach igneous, how do people teach granitoid genesis these days? Im still using I, S and A type but know that's a bit controversial these days. Thinking of revamping that part of a 3rd year course. Ideas welcome!
📣Fully funded PhD alert! Cu isotope signatures at the world famous Olympic Dam IOCG deposit, South Australia. Details here: https://t.co/Z8w8Cb2jIZ (please follow the instructions on the page, don't send messages to penguin 🐧)

Thanks @iavcei2023 audience for bearing with me as David decided to join in my talk this morning - holding a heavy toddler means you get to the point quickly 😅
Sad to have missed the first day of #iavcei2023 but happy we are finally here! Even if it is midnight and just got David to sleep 😴 might be a bit tired for that 9:15am talk!
