🔹🟢 BUILD YOURSELF IN CHRIST
📖And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified (Acts 20:32).
In our last study, we touched on something very important: You’ve received Christ, yes; but you must continue in Him and be built up in Him. He said in John 8:31, “…If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed.” Spiritual growth is intentional. It doesn’t happen by chance; the responsibility is yours to allow the Word of God to dwell in you richly (Colossians 3:16).
No one can grow for you. No one can build your spirit for you. Your progress in Christ is directly tied to your personal commitment to the Word. You may say, “I’ve read through the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation”; but reading isn’t enough. Remember the words of the Lord Jesus for us to search the Scriptures; Paul said to study. There’s a difference. Reading informs you, but searching unveils truth, and studying establishes it within you.
Until you move beyond casual reading, you won’t walk in the depth, authority and power of the Word. There’s more in God, so much more. As you give yourself to study, meditation, and the ministry of the Spirit, deeper revelations are unveiled to you. Your convictions become firm, your discernment refined, and your walk with God steady, consistent, and built on truth.
Remember, we win by His Word. You’re sustained by the Word of His grace, which is able to build you up and unveil your inheritance to you. That Word must dwell richly in you, shaping your thoughts, your responses, and your direction. So, don’t be passive about your spiritual growth. 1 Peter 2:2 says, “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.”
The strength and stability of your Christian life are determined by the depth of the Word in your spirit. You’ve received Christ, that’s powerful; now build yourself in Him. Grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Be established in truth.
🙏🏽Prayer / Confession
Dear Father, I thank you for the Word of your grace that builds me up and establishes me in Christ. I’m strengthened, rooted and grounded in the truth of your Word. My life is structured by your Word, and I walk in ever-increasing grace and glory as the revelation of your Word floods my spirit and strengthens my faith, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

🔹🟢 BUILD YOURSELF IN CHRIST
📖And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified (Acts 20:32).
Nothing in this world compares to the value of your salvation. Not your accomplishments, not your visions, not your impact; nothing. Your salvation is the very reason for your existence; without it, everything else amounts to nothing. Your main purpose on earth is to secure your salvation and help others find theirs. Once you understand this, you’ll live a fulfilled life.
There’re those who laboured diligently, gave generously, and served fervently, yet lost their salvation because they strayed from the path. You can be engaged, committed, and even celebrated, yet miss the essence. Never let that happen. Your salvation is your most priceless possession; don’t treat it lightly. Refuse to be drawn away.
Some have allowed others to guide them off course, becoming entangled in conflicts they had no business with; defending positions that corrupted their focus and weakened their walk with God. That’s not your path. Stay with the truth. Continue in Christ and guard your heart. The Bible says, “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving” (Colossians 2:6-7).
Your walk with God is personal. When God called Abraham, He called him alone. In the same way, your accountability to the Lord is a personal one. These are the last days; therefore, don’t let anyone lead you astray, and don’t lead yourself astray either. Be discerning and remain established in the Word.
Receiving Christ is the beginning, not the end. Build yourself up in Him. Give yourself to deep and intense study of the Word. The Lord Jesus said, “Search the Scriptures” (John 5:39). Paul said, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). As you give yourself to the Word, the Spirit of God unveils deeper truths to you, strengthens your convictions, and keeps you grounded in the truth.
🙏🏽Prayer / Confession
Dear Father, I thank you for the priceless gift of salvation that I’ve received in Christ. I remain steadfast, vigilant and rooted in your Word, refusing to be swayed or led astray by any influence contrary to your truth. I’m built up in Christ, I’m growing in grace and in the knowledge of your Word. Thank you for the grace to lead others into this same glorious life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Let’s establish something very important: you’re not on the same level with demons, no matter how high they are. You’re seated together with Christ in the heavenly realms. That’s your place. That’s your position. It’s important that you understand this.
Therefore, when it comes to dealing with demons, it’s not a struggle. It’s not a situation where you keep exchanging words with them. No. That’s not the picture the Word gives. You don’t negotiate with demons; you cast them out! The Lord Jesus used the strongest words possible. He said, “...In my name shall they cast out devils...” (Mark 16:17).
To “cast out” means to thrust out, to drive out, to pluck out. It gives the picture of forceful removal. That’s the authority He gave you. You’re to command demons to clear out. And He didn’t put any limits to it. He didn’t say if they’re close, you can cast them out, but if they’re far, you can’t. No. He gave you a Name that is above every name, “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth” (Philippians 2:10).
Therefore, it doesn’t matter where they are; when you speak in the Name of Jesus, they have to obey. You give the Word wherever you are, they hear you, and they obey. That’s why Satan and the cohorts of hell are not a factor at all. In fact, when you’re told that demons are responsible for something, it should make it easier for you. They understand authority.
This is the reality: you’re seated with Christ. You operate from a place of dominion. Therefore, refuse to fear, refuse to negotiate with demons. Exercise your authority and enforce your dominion over them in Jesus’ Name.
🙏🏽Prayer / Confession
I’m seated together with Christ in the heavenly realms, far above all principality, power and every name that is named. I exercise authority in the Name of Jesus, and every force of darkness responds to my words. I’m reigning with Christ. Satan and his cohorts are under my feet. Hallelujah!

🔹🟢DEMONS ARE NOT A FACTOR

Boldness is the divine confidence to speak and act in line with God’s will, regardless of opposition or circumstances. It’s often the result of being filled with the Spirit: dynamic evangelism—preaching the Gospel with power. We see this in Acts 4:31; the saints were all filled with the Holy Ghost and they spoke the Word of God with boldness even in the face of threats and severe persecution.
How we need that in our world today: the outworking of divine courage and boldness in preaching the Gospel! A person of courage understands that every opposition is an opportunity for victory. This is what we see in the early Church. The apostles didn’t retreat in the face of persecution; they advanced the Gospel with greater boldness.
After they were threatened, they prayed for boldness and, being filled again with the Holy Ghost, they spoke the Word with boldness (Acts 4:29-31). Even when they were beaten and commanded not to preach, they departed, rejoicing and continued daily to teach and preach Jesus Christ (Acts 5:40-42).
They weren’t afraid of kings, rulers, or death; they were strong and very courageous. God has given to us the same ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18). You’ve been entrusted with the Gospel, to reach your world for the Lord Jesus. Therefore, your life must be about the Gospel. Refuse to make the lesser things of life your focus.
Paul said, “...necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!” (1 Corinthians 9:16). That should be your consciousness. You’re an ambassador and a steward of the mysteries of Christ. Don’t ignore the sinners around you. It’s not God’s will that any should perish (2 Peter 3:9). He wants them saved, and He’s counting on you.
Romans 10:14 says, “...how shall they hear without a preacher?” You’re that preacher. Refuse to be silent. Be bold, be courageous, and preach the Gospel with conviction. This is your time. Take your place, fulfil your mandate with boldness and impact your world for Christ.
🙏🏽Prayer / Confession
I’m bold, courageous and empowered by the Holy Spirit to preach the Gospel with boldness, power and conviction. I’m an ambassador for Christ, and through me, the Word reaches my world with power, bringing salvation and transformation to many. Hallelujah!
