@kirkgoldsberry It would be really interesting to see distribution of teams in Quadrant I and Quadrant III in games 10-20 vs games 60-70.

My thought is there is more concentration in these two quadrants late in the season due to tanking and competitive playoff positioning.

@HPbasketball Worth remembering OKC won a game because Dallas shot 12 of 23 from the FT line while OKC shot 23 of 24. Pretty much the definition of shot variance dictating a game.

Dallas - Minny feels like a bunch of junk-it-up games, where Luka & Kyrie's superior shot & decision making win the day. Fans still underestimating Dallas's defensive execution to keep them in games, even if Minny's D gives them troubles on offense.

Luka and Kyrie average stats. Defense is good, but how with Luka and Kyrie? Luka injuries/complaining. Not playing beautiful basketball

Hard to flip narrative when stars look only OK and defense hard to make sense of.

@HPbasketball The Mavs did the opposite of running it back. They lost Brunson, their second best player in the playoff run, because they were unwilling to overpay at the time.

Also, beating a 64 win Suns team is hardly fake.
