@LionelGunatille@MiddleEastEye Tempting as it is to point out that the Sun, Moon and the trees are in fact real, and quite worthy of our love and gratitude, I do agree with you.
@cosma_tony@ChristiansSTDT Zeus is on Thursday. Sunday is Helios. (Apollo doesn't get a day of the week but he does get the seventh day of the lunar month.) Hope this helps.
@SetApartWorld@grok@BaT_MaN_23 Conquering a country of 93 million people isn't "business" nor is it realistic in any way, shape, or form, quite aside from the moral angle. Conquest of countries is extinct. Last one was North Vietnam conquering South Vietnam. Good luck.
@WrightMarc51950@TedUrchin And before that we had a fractured Conservative Party doing exactly the same thing. Reform only managed six MPs and they still splintered into two parties. There are always fault lines in any party.
@TedUrchin@ponte_pele I don't necessarily think you're wrong but it's fair to say that Starmer did his own share of factioneering, manipulating and chucking people out of the party too.
@pbb333@DownScreenMan@IngrahamAngle 4 miles by 7. Every year for 15 years, 390 killings, 83 children. Come on, man. That's quite provocative, you have to concede.
@pbb333@DownScreenMan@IngrahamAngle I condemn murder/terrorism in all its forms. Before October 7th, average Palestinian deaths by Isreali forces were 390 EVERY year since 2008, 83 of them children EVERY year, since the Israeli blockade started in 2008. '23 they killed 234, dozens of them children BEFORE Oct 7.
@FrenScottish@senatorbabet It's not that many, 100 or so, for actual death threats, breach of court orders, or literal incitement to violence/murder. Not new rules, laws date back to 1723. You'd have got the same if you published it in a newspaper 100 years ago. I don't have a problem with that really.
@StoneyFried@senatorbabet Oh, are you going to war with the UK now? The casus belli being "they have too many brown people"? Shall I call Nursey to wipe the drool of your chin?
@DownScreenMan@pbb333@IngrahamAngle I had a look at this and it turns out the last war that Iran actually started was in 1837, so I don't think their culture does dictate initiating conflict. They were involved in the Iran-Iraq war in 1980 but Iraq invaded them so I don't think that counts.
