Author of the award-winning novels All About Lulu, West of Here, The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving, This is Your Life, Harriet Chance! and Lawn Boy
@broncowrites you name it! as far as i know (never gone down the dna rabbit hole) a little irish, a little nowregian, a little british, a little scottish, a little italian . . .
@CrisPTofu@ChristinaPushaw@AnnaForFlorida what i said was: when i wrote the novel, my intended audience was adult, but i don't think the book is inappropriate for 15yo and up, nor did the american library association when they awarded lawn boy the alex award for "adult novels with special interest to YA readers"...

@StaceyWorley@BlackManUSA@Gonzolok @DanielLivinLife @donnellrawlings fyi, lawn boy was never intended for a middle school readership, and if it has ended up in middle school libraries it's probably because it was mistaken for gary paulsen's lawn boy . . . throwing around allegations of "pedophilia" when they're categorically false is irresponsible
