Before #carersweek ends I want to share the work we are doing at @Meadowfield01
We want to "Improve engagement & involvement of families & carers." We held drop-in groups & met with over 20 staff & carers to create a driver diagram which will be the basis of the QI work we do.
@DaleSimpson8010@Meadowfield01 Looking forward to the next steps of testing and trying out your change ideas from what was a brilliant example of engagement โบ๏ธ
Great to hear the news that NHSE may be dropping the financial incentive for CQUIN delivery next year - finally recognising that financial incentives for quality drive the wrong behaviour and unsustainable ways to meet the target (and miss the point)
@CLCH_QI@sid_improvement@theQCommunity Hi it was a great launch event yesterday, Iโm keen to share with colleagues. Is the recording available? Thank you
@Nikki1138 Yes itโs a very good article, QI like any approach (Clinical Audit, Service Evaluation) are ineffective if scattergun, not supported or lacking rigor and engagement(co-production).
We would like to say a huge "THANK YOU" to everyone who participated in this year's mental health improvement network meeting in #Copenhagen. The community continues to flourish! #quality2023@patientsikker@TheIHI
โBut what is it that makes a good #15s30mMission?โ
Most effective mission ideas are small changes, small enough to fit in the TARDIS, but once that small change is through the door, itโs positive knock on effect to OTHERS can be UNLIMITED โ๏ธโ๏ธ๐คฉ

Careful study has shown that most meetings are dysfunctional. Why? Because people don't say what they truly think (diversity of thought) but what they think the leader wants to hear. But there are tried and tested ways of making meetings effective. See below, from Rebel Ideas
