@Geek4Maga_redux@MarioNawfal Btw, if they are doing well than great for them, it’s hard to be a farmer and they sometimes have good years and sometimes devastating years, but from what I’m hearing, this year certainly isn’t starting smooth for farmers.
@Geek4Maga_redux@MarioNawfal I don’t see how your brother can be doing great this season with high nitrogen and fertilizers cost, high fuel cost, as well as high herbicides and pesticide cost and a relatively average price on CME
@Geek4Maga_redux@MarioNawfal I speak as a farmer who plants hundreds of acres in Brazil, who regularly checks the prices of all products needed to plant, care for, and harvest a crop, and who closely follows the situation of neighboring farmers as well as many farmers in similar situations in the U.S.
@MarioNawfal Meanwhile this scenario is stripping the last pennies from the small farmer from exorbitant Nitrogen and MAP (phosphorus) imported from Russia and Iran, as well as pesticide and herbicide cost (from China) as well as highly elevated fuel cost. Same applies for farmers in Brazil.
@deicivitas@MarioNawfal Yes many in Brazil saw Trump win in the US and that gives them a glimpse of hope for the next elections in Brazil, hoping either Bolsonaro or his son can achieve a similar victory.
“It should be more our care to get our troubles sanctified, and our hearts satisfied under them, than to get them taken away.” Matthew Henry on Matthew 26:42
“Though we may pray to God to prevent and remove an affliction, yet our chief errand, and that which we should most insist upon, must be, that he will give us grace to bear it well.”
“It is useful to pray apart; for then the faithful soul develops itself more familiarly, and with greater simplicity pours forth its petitions, groans, cares, fears, hopes and joys, into the bosom of God.” - John Calvin on Matthew 26:39
@burdbrainz@MarioNawfal What’s even more interesting is that what she wrote is a direct quote of Alexandre de Moraes to all the voters who lost in the last election. She’s just quoting the judge and facing years in jail for it, truly signs of a dictatorship.

What excites the mind most must surely be what we most love. Few who love sports have to drive themselves to the practice field or to the match. But many who love Christ have to drive themselves to their knees and to their closets. Excerpt from The Christians High Calling Ch. 12
“Oh that sinners had sense enough to use the Saviour for that end to which he is ordained, to be a Saviour to lost and guilty souls.” Charles H. Spurgeon on Psa 21:6
