Breaking. Big news for Aussie defence firm C2 Robotics delivering its first large Uncrewed Undersea Vehicle (LUUV) to the United States. The ADF is also looking to acquire Speartooth with its body able to be filled with supplies and explosives. @SkyNewsAust

Spotted! An unusual visitor to Brisbane, HMS Tamar. An offshore patrol vessel that’s significantly larger than ours. It’s been in the Indo Pacific since 2021. The crew is going to enjoy some R&R. And maybe a game of @BBL @RoyalNavy

A scamper and we caught HMS Tamar docking before the honour guard formed up. She’s in Brisbane to escape cyclonic weather in Queensland’s north. Noting the clear interest here, so I’ll post more below. @RoyalNavy

I’m hearing the Australian government has chosen the Japanese Mogami class frigate over the German TKMS rival, elevating Australia and Japanese relations to an unprecedented level of cooperation. 11 frigates. 3 built overseas.
