@johnkel48273451 @frank_oconnor @anoisagency @judesherry I have been involved in construction at one level or another for over 30 years. I know how much construction costs are. It’s approximately 2.5k per square meter, that’s for new build. This doesn’t include the cost of the land to build on.

@davidmcw But we have the skills & experience to actually build the train lines. Most of the train lines in the U.K. are constructed by Irish companies. Or most of the U.K. companies have Irish directors or senior engineers involved. Irish Government just needs to legislate & pay for it.
