feels like a good time to seriously rethink how operating systems and user interfaces are designed
(also the internet; there should be a protocol that is equally usable by people and agents)

Sometimes I get asked career advice …
Patience is undervalued.
Too many distractions promise quick wins, especially when things are hard.
They are enticing — you can justify pursuing them as a way to avoid a “local maximum.”
Later you find out that they are also hard.
If you’re not careful, you can find yourself always searching and jumping from one shiny object to another.
It’s almost always better to just finish the job.
There are really only two rules for new consumer tech:
1. Make it interesting
2. Make it easy
I see far more products die from being overengineered than underengineered
If it's important,
Do the hard thing.
Even if the path is long,
Even if the road is treacherous,
Even if you will be misunderstood,
Do the hard thing.
Go all the way.
