@NUCLRGOLF 250-270
Question for people of Twitter - I have a 2i that rolls out to similar distance, but they play complete opposite on trajectory, should I pull back the 2i for a 3i? Or look for a 3/strong 4 wood?
@bparker2774@NUCLRGOLF Complete relief from the obstruction may still leave you on the side of a hill that rolls the ball back into it... You only get relief from stance and swing / maybe line of play in some cases
@bparker2774@NUCLRGOLF Ya, that's not how the actual interpretations of the rule work though..... All you have to do is drop within that club length radius, if the ball does not come to rest within that area, it's a redrop, then placement where it landed... It can be taken advantage of if on a slope
@bparker2774@NUCLRGOLF Ya, so if he was on the edge of the one club length and it rolled back towards the stand he is outside the club length and redrops. The relief area is predetermined before the drop, and even if it ends up in a place that is entirely relieved of the obstacle, it has to stay inside
@ProDuffer72 Just a weird take.... Ya obviously, but it's not like Bryson doesn't have these skills.... Why hating so hard...? He's even admitted he's struggling
@KBGolfs87@soundthealarm76@sensarpensar@NUCLRGOLF Not true at all, sometimes the rules can be favourable for you. Understand them and know how to and when to use them to your advantage.... This is 100% clean and legal drop
@RealRyanJKaz@jamierkennedy Agreed, little disappointed, however I have heard they are worried about losing the greens with the added wind drying them out. If that's true they will probably tune them up for today and tomorrow a bit
@ZckMrgn@acaseofthegolf1 They very often do explain how it works at the beginning of the playoff, but I'm sure there's a ton of emotions on that green and not everyone is thinking clearly. Some of these guys rarely have to play qualifiers and playoffs for such
@LouStagner Interesting going through the rules and assumptions - I am wondering if you would actually be able to play that fast, and how much extra lost time there would actually be here and there. Plus as you already mentioned, fatigue would be a large factor. Im thinking it's harder still
@jackmarsh525@LisaMCornwell@GritGrowthCap@Chevron_Golf Concept is still the same - NCAA and WNBA (and FIBA) all use 22ft 1.75 making that fair to say this is the world standard
NBA is an increased distance, WNBA has followed standard, as opposed to making it easier for the women - kinda like how the PGA tour plays increased distance
@LouStagner@pembelson I was going to argue yes- typically someone finishes around 10-14 over, there's bound to be a tournament or 2 where someone blows up a little worse than that. However it would still take 2 very good days for a 5 cap to shoot back 70s on a PGA course, and idk if that happens....
