On June 23rd in Summit at the Elks Club at 630 pm I will hold my 2nd Town Hall meeting when residents can discuss issues facing our State. Residents have an absolute right to have direct conversations with their elected officials. See you there
Democrat and Republican Congress members completely disagree on what they see inside Delaney Hall. We can all agree no level of violence is acceptable. Congress members should agree on a team of neutral third parties to be observers. They probably can’t do that either. Sad
Residents can speak before the Town council, County Board of Commissioners and Boards of Education but not the State legislature. I am drafting legislation requiring State elected officials to have two town hall meetings a year.
Last night I thanked Rocky, the President of the Italian American Hall for allowing me to hold the Town Hall meeting. The Town of Westfield said NO to the community room because it would have to be a joint event with the Mayor. It is a community room not a “political tool”
Tonight instead of watching television, or a movie, or scrolling the internet, go to the NJGLOBE website and watch my Town Hall meeting. No rehearsed questions, no political speak, just a real question and answer session from residents.
