Signed for a club record fee to replace their previous talisman Ivan Toney, does his meniscus before making his professional debut and only returns the following May.

At the start of the next season... he's playing for a different manager that signed him, in a squad that has been pillaged of it's best talents.

And yet... 4 goals in 6 League games, to steer a side many people tipped for relegation into mid-table.

Relentless in his work rate today, didn't give the United players a second on the ball!

We can confirm that after seven years in charge, Thomas Frank has left Brentford to take up the head coach role at Tottenham Hotspur.

He will be joined by assistant first-team coach Justin Cochrane, head of first-team performance Chris Haslam, and first-team analyst Joe Newton.

Everyone connected with Brentford would like to thank Thomas for the incredible impact he has had on the club’s history.
