It has been an absolute honor to watch you throw, 22. On September 12th, 2017, the @Dodgers welcomed my first-born into the world with a congratulations from you; you pitched six innings, allowed one run, and clinched us a playoff berth. Happy birthday indeed. Now with three girls, they’ve all spent their entire lives cheering you on, most recently in your last start in Denver. There’s no player I’d rather have them model their lives after than you, and this house will always bleed blue. When my daughters talk about you they’ll channel Roy Hobbs and say, “There goes the best there ever was.” Tip of the hat to you sir, and thank you. @ClaytonKersh22

The Cathedral that is Yankee Stadium belongs to the Dodgers!! Four years ago I shared the Dodgers winning with my Dad and I made us both be quiet for the last three innings 😂 He obliged. And now I wish we’d have talked the whole time so we could’ve seen this one together. This year, Chi Chi got a ball from a Dodger game at Coors Field and I got the chance to see a game at Chavez Ravine for the first time in my life. Baseball is what my Grandpa and I bonded over and now my daughters ask for Dodgers games with Daddy for their birthdays. Best game there ever was. Best game there ever will be. I can’t wait until spring, when “It’s Time For Dodger Baseball!”
