I'm thinking that my parents teaching me to be considerate of others were delusional. Following the golden rule 'doing unto others what I would want them to do unto me' is extinct. Most people would feel a 5 second bit of sadness if I died then shrug & continue with their day.

While a foot in mouth moment, Ms. Goldberg's comment was an eyebrow raiser & 'reflex' apology a little too quick to be believable. I'm reminded of Mark Twain 'It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.'

Last week I learned that the CDC was allowing a 4th Covid Vaccine for immune suppressed/compromised people and went to CVS with the NYS Dept of Health webpage (highlighted), a Dr's Note that I was immune suppressed and had to argue to get the 4th shot. #4thVaxShot

Marvel's Eternals reminded me of Spiderman 3. Too many story lines going on to give sufficient time to each story to do it justice. They introduced numerous heroes, a misunderstood villain, a Celestial possible villain & a plot twist. Maybe it should have been more than 1 movie.

No amount of communicating with the American People will change the votes of Democrats in Name Only Manchin and Sinema. They will continue to vote republican. They are not moderate Democrats and the news media has their heads up their collective behinds.

What do you think is the most overused word? I think 'resilience' which is short for ... well, the politicians misspent or pocketed the infrastructure money and screwed over the voter but hey look how resilient they are in collecting a picture from the remains of their house.

What are the phrases that annoy you? I'll start with two: (1) in advertisements "up to" __ off - i.e. 0% to whatever; (2) "thoughts and prayers" which is basically saying 'gee, sorry to hear it'... similar to the phony "awwww....".
