@davepedde@LinkedIn Way to go Dave! I’ve always been too chicken or used the excuse that I don’t have the time to go down this black hole of learning. I want to but it always seems daunting
@davepedde I���m sure there is more to that phrase for others but I would think that that phrase should lead you to think more personally and less performatively. 🤷♂️
@davepedde I think there is more of an element with that phrase that is “know your context.” Pick songs that work for this room and not some song you heard on a recording in an arena or conference. Know what is affecting the people in the room to help lead them into God’s presence.
@dsantistevan If you ever need someone, I’d be game to talk about what I have done in a college setting with music, lifelong worship discipleship/rhythms, and context. I was bold enough to even record a hymns album done in a “four fold liturgy” to demonstrate this for my congregation
