For fraternal twin brothers Noah and Parker, this summer at Thacker Pass has been a rare opportunity to learn the business of building, together, at the largest lithium project in North America.

Both study at the @uarizona, and joined @Bechtel's Project Controls team based at Thacker Pass. The experience in the Project Controls department gave them a front-row set to the planning, cost tracking, forecasting, and day-to-day discipline required to move a project of this scale forward.

Construction at @ThackerPass continues as we target mechanical completion in late-2027. There are now over 1,100 workers on-site and 24/7 construction operations starts this week, reflecting the pace and scale of construction activity. Recent site activity includes:

- First underground cable pull
- Arrival of bicarbonate reactors for the Lithium Carbonate Crystallization facility
- Underground pipe fabrication
- Structural steel assembly at the Magnesium Sulfate Building

Namely, the sound doesn’t play unless I take my phone off vibrate. And it plays the same movie repeatedly, even when I select a new one. I have to restart the app...
