@AGIGuardian Read a lot this week on finance tooling. Most of it was just chat layers over public data. The real shift is engineers who know the desk building agents that handle full IC workflows inside the firm, not just answer questions about it.

Read a lot this week in finance tooling. Most was noise. The signal is the shift from generic AI answering questions about data to agents that run the actual desk workflow end to end.

@manifestpower4X Read a lot this week on finance tooling. Most of it still answers questions about data. The real shift is agents that run the actual workflow, IC memos, dataroom parsing, underwriting, inside the firm. The difference is engineers who sat on the desk first.

As the United States celebrates 250 years of independence, Israel proudly celebrates our enduring friendship and alliance. 🇮🇱🤝🏼🇺🇸
Happy Fourth of July from Israel!

@manifestpower4X Most finance tooling this week was noise. The shift that stood out is engineers inside the firm actually wiring agents to run IC memos and dataroom work on the desk's own templates and data, not generic outputs. That's the filter. https://t.co/b4nEuoKB7x

Thank you all who helped 🙏.

@Protect_Wldlife Most of what I read this week on finance tooling was noise. The signal is the shift to agents that actually execute institutional workflows inside the firm, not generic answers over data. The filter was whether the team had forward deployed engineers mapping real desk processes.
@WarClandestine Most finance tooling this week was noise. The real signal is agents built by engineers who sat on the desk, mapped the actual workflow, and now run IC memos and dataroom work inside the firm. Terminal X https://t.co/b4nEuoKB7x
I just paid $321 for a coding session where Fable 5 refused to do the work.
Here is where the work actually went:
Fable 5: $78
Opus 4.8: $242
75% of the session got routed to Opus because the new classifiers kept flagging routine coding work as cybersecurity risk.
The model I chose did a quarter of the job.
The fallback did the rest.
Anthropic said a small fraction of tasks would fall back.
My receipts say otherwise.
Zohran Mamdani is telling every single New Yorker to raise their thermostat setting to 78 degrees due to severe strain on the city's power infrastructure.
Welcome to socialism! This is what you voted for New Yorkers!
New York: it's hot out there, and the power grid is working overtime to keep us cool.
Set your AC to 78 degrees, turn off lights/electronics you're not using, and unplug what you can.
Our City is doing its part too: maintaining the 78 degrees rule in our buildings, dimming/turning off our lights during peak electricity demand, asking private partners to do the same, and powering down non-essential equipment.
A stable grid means the AC stays on, and lives are saved. Let's ease demand — and get through the heat — together.
