The Princess Royal, as Master of The Corporation of Trinity House, on her way to St Olaves Church, today!

Saw all of the holiday Tweets recommending this read and one thatโs been at the top of my list to pick up for my holiday. You didnโt disappoint @RoryStewartUK. We met at Petty France during your time as Prison Minister. Fascinating to hear more about the inner workings.
Truth right there. ๐
We are caught up in this repeated cycle of none sense commissioning that organisations have to appease to survive. As such, nothing changes and good money goes to waste.
Ask the correct questions, but make sure you ask the โright peopleโ.

@Keir_Starmer Getting narrative right by asking the correct questions will be key to dismantling the treadmill to nowhere the establishment has been on for over a decade. Kids arenโt dying in wealthy affluent areas. Until we level up poorest communities the symptoms will continue to manifest
@TrowsdaleGary Agreed. The prison population is under extreme pressure. As opposed to seeking better ways to manage and support low risk offenders through effective community sentencing options, it builds more prisons. Not to mention the impact this has on recalls. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
So many passionate contributions made from so many wonderful humans with @HopeCollective2 itโs sometimes overwhelming trying stay on top of things. Every relationship matters. It has to! Uplifting seeing wonderful linked in posts from team @Jones1Peter@iampatrickhutch#TeamHope
Good to hear each prison will be getting a Reading Strategy. What we also need are senior level staff in prisons with the skills and expertise to consistently delivery against said strategies. Not necessarily operationally experienced but passionate, sector experienced leaders.
50% of prisoners struggle with reading, but education providers and prisons are not doing enough. Time in jail is a good opportunity to improve reading - see my blog. https://t.co/m2LiB6F3Uw
Well done McDonalds for helping to give people a second chance. Working in the community from open prison conditions is a fundamental part of the resettlement process. McDonalds have been supporting this for over a decade. More organisations should do the same.
