Ah yeeeaaah! It is ON wildflower wise. Glorious, gorgeous diversity on my usual walk. Cowslips, early purple orchid, wild garlic, red campion, yellow archangel and bush vetch #wildflowerhour
Went out for a evening walk to my local @ShropsWildlife nature reserve. I was trying to find a woodpecker with my bins & saw a little bird flitting about, turned out to be a male pied flycatcher, one of my favourite birds. Then I followed the brown leaf road home. @BTO_Shropshire

A glorious morning. I took a turn about the garden with my morning cuppa; chiff chaff singing, the low drone of bees & a dark edged bee fly sunning itself. Spirits lifted. Methinks the moth trap could debut tonight #spring@invertebrate_uk@DipteristsForum@Buzz_dont_tweet
In exactly one month, Albanian elections will take place. The designation of the Vjosa as a National Park must be one of the priorities of the election campaign. We urge the Albanian politicians to take a stance on this issue and make a #VjosaNationalParkNow@ediramaal
@Buzz_dont_tweet have launched the ambitious #blines project today. 97% of the UK's flower meadows have now gone and insect numbers have plummeted, but B-lines aims to bring them back. Read more about our involvement here: https://t.co/F9A4OrBAJF
Neil Strong from @networkrail on how the rail network presents huge opportunities to contribute to the #BLines network by restoring or creating wildflower-rich habitats.

I've just started at #Buglife as the B-lines Conservation Officer for Shropshire. Incredibly excited to be working on such an amazing project in my home county. Feeling inspired by the launch event today @Buzz_dont_tweet#NoInsectinction#wildflowers
Thanks to @SteveBackshall for launching our B-Lines conference today!
#BLines is a UK-wide network of insect super highways. Making wild habitats bigger, better and more joined up.
We can all #GetInvolved to create and restore wildflower habitats to help pollinating insects.
It's extremely rewarding to have your lunch sitting on a piece of wood that you put in a river. Well I mean I organised it going in ๐ Dynamic processes aplenty & bucket loads of lovely habitat features #woodinrivers@StaffsWildlife@TrentCaba
To be out & about on a frosty morning. Whilst the cold bit at my fingers & numbed my cheeks, I was thinking about those creatures still asleep. Hedgehog, dormouse bumblebee - wise to stay slumbering a little longer. But up here the birds are starting to sound the wake-up alarm ๐
