My biggest problem with Endgame is that now I realize every movie I've seen before looks like major crap in comparison. Like have movies been allowed this whole time to be this awesome?!
It is a sin, though, that Mark Hammil doesn't have at least a cameo in Joker. We need a spider-verse but with Hammil, Phoenix and Leto. Just them in a room for 2 hours
Hearing the summary of Joker before seeing anything, it just sounded like Taxi Driver/Joker fanfiction, and yknow what, it kinda looks like that, but it's not looking like such a bad thing
@RoyHarperTalk I am a late convert to the Connor Hawke fandom, but nevertheless, I adore him. His addition to Morrison's JLA was such a big part of why I loved that book.
I know this is late, but rest in peace Stan Lee. He's reunited with Steve and Jack now. Thank you for everything you've created and for being such a positive influence on comics and the world in general. #StanLeeForever
"Get out of the road you stupid sandwich!" π Rewatching season one seeing basically year one Jessica is surreal. The writing and acting is so good, pre Killgrave, Jessica is angry at the world, but you see how she's on the road to becoming the bitter Jessica who hates the world.
@LetsTalkDrake I'm conflicted cuz every tim drake robin costume is so well designed, but since dc is so ashamed of their past, basically every other robin has worn the tim original robin costume, and in the case of early new 52, more so than tim himself. So in response I forget the question π
Playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance reminds me how much I love early 2000s Marvel. Just balls to the wall fun team ups. Thor can have his awesome Ultimate costume and Luke Cage can rock his 70s getup and no one bats an eye. π
@BatgirITalk I love the constant Bat/Super family friendships. Reminds me of how connected comic book universes can have real feeling friendships and it reinforces the importance of Batman and Superman to these characters world. Jon and Damien, Tim and Conner, Supes and Bats and Babs and Kara
Don't care for the new 52 art style though, or Dwight as Lex Luthor, I love Rainn Wilson but he just wasn't right for the role. Compared to the worst voice acting performance I've seen, Tobey Maguire in Spiderman 2 game, Dwight isn't that bad, he just doesn't sound right.
The new Death of Supes movie was actually a pleasant surprise. Just having Bibbo was a thumbs up from me and Supes actually felt heroic as well as dealt with revealing his ID to Lois you get to really care about Clark b4 he dies, can't say that for all DoS adaptations.
