Looking back, I learned that opinions and personal agendas will always be part of coaching.
The important part is not letting either one change the mission.
School first. Program first.
It’s that time of year again.
New school year. New seasons. New athletes.
Don’t judge a student or athlete simply because you don’t click at first — or because you don’t see their potential yet.
Kids grow. Kids change. Kids deserve that chance.
Don’t give up on kids.
"Leadership begins with your behavior.
What’s more powerful? A manager or coach or teacher who tells you the right thing to do? Or one who shows you how to live and work by example?
People gravitate toward the standard you set, not the standard you request."
– James Clear
