@AlexTyrrellPVQ Maybe your interpretation is correct. Maybe it isn’t.
But most Montrealers aren’t experts on Israeli politics. They don’t know who Ben Gvir is.
What they do understand is the image of a hanging effigy in a public space. That’s why people reacted the way they did.
@AlexTyrrellPVQ The JNF is controversial. Fair enough.
What’s not fair is pretending that attending a climate conference means endorsing every action, allegation, or political position associated with an organizer.
By that standard, nobody could attend anything.
@AlexTyrrellPVQ 4. Next time you’re in the area, come in for a drink on me. I’ll show you how these protests have affected our staff, customers, and business.
I’d hope you’d have some sympathy for a small business owner whose livelihood have been affected by your activism.
@AlexTyrrellPVQ 3. It’s not even an embassy. It’s a consulate.
Most of what a consulate does is administrative: passports, visas, etc.
And also whenever there are protests… once again…. There is no one there. You are screaming at an empty office.
@PSSpecial01@SPVM The difference here is that in the photo above there is no need for an investigation. A group takes credit for it. Which is not any better.
@AustonPowerz I leave this playoff run proud of my team. Do you need me to explain the word “proud” you probably don’t know that either.
Dude. Take a night off. You’re making the loss… funny.
@AustonPowerz I saw skates, a stick and a puck. Looks like hockey to me. Guys if you stick to the basics maybe you wouldn’t be a permanent embarrassment.
