Everyone is crying about West Ham’s correctly disallowed goal, especially Manchester City fans.
So let’s have a look at the egregious decisions in the last couple of weeks that have kept them in a title race… a thread 🧵
🗣️Ian Wright on the referee ruling out West Ham’s goal in the #Arsenal win over West Ham today: “Hearing the referee say that goal was cancelled was the sweetest words I have heard since Martin Luther King said I have a dream!” 😂😂😂
Saturday: Both Liverpool and Manchester City lost.
Sunday: Arsenal beat Tottenham 4-1.
Monday: Manchester United lose at home to 10 man Everton.
Tuesday: Manchester City lost again.
Wednesday: Liverpool lost again while Arsenal beat Bayern Munich.
What a week.
Some reality is important after not winning a game. We entered the last international break only one point ahead of Liverpool, three points ahead of Manchester City, two points ahead of Tottenham, and five points ahead of Chelsea.
We will go into this next international break 8 points ahead of Spurs, 6 points ahead of Chelsea, and after today's game, either 5, 7, or 8 points ahead of Liverpool and either 7, 6, or 4 points ahead of Man City.
Whatever way you look at it, we have increased our lead over everyone else and are in a very good place. We have done all this with half a team missing and maintaining a perfect record in the
Champions League.
Whilst I'm disappointed at drawing a game we should have won, I'm pleased with where we are right now. The squad will look very different in two weeks, and I cannot wait.

Arsenal fans will rarely agree with former players as pundits, much less any Man Utd ones.
However, @rioferdy5 has said nothing but facts here.
It’s fun and games until Arsenal do something, then it’s the end of the world.
Another level of football would be playing in the PL when Drogba, Hasselbaink, Henry, Wright, RvP, Ferdinand, Hughes, van Nistelrooy, Rooney, Cole, Tevez, Solskjaer, Cantona, Bergkamp, Zola, Shearer etc were the strikers, not Wood, Havertz, Hojlund, Wissa, Mateta & Jackson etc
