@JayDubWard Hey Joe, quick scoop: Saw a coming soon sign for Abi Bell bakery at the corner of Sheridan and Argyle. Here's the social page: https://t.co/8tOnDcrdzd
@WSJ "even in Chicago".... ๐๐๐ I guess my family and I must be imagining the fact that we practically live at the beach five months out of the year.
@lezzlemynezzle@Brooklyn4lifeL@Rybotmcg@BeschlossDC Can we liberals please stop simplifying political divides by fitting them into neat geographies? Plenty of liberals in the midwestern and southern states, and plenty of conservatives in coastal states. Look at electoral maps. It's silly to paint with broad strokes. #ComeTogether
@jensabella@BlockClubCHI And don't forget Dim Sum. Cai, Phoenix, Dolo, Ming Hing are some of the most popular. Furama and Triple Crown are solid cart service classics.
@jensabella@BlockClubCHI Richland Center Chinatown Food court always has tasty options. Literally any vendor has good food. Try a few. Slurp Slurp's (on S. Wentworth) hand pulled/shaved noodle soups are bomb when it's cold. Hello Jasmine (Taiwanese boba/food), and Tan Lu (spicy whole fish) also solid.
@JayDubWard@BlockClubCHI Also... Status updates on the Uptown Theater rehab? I thought construction was supposed to start this past summer... It's been crickets so far (at least from the outside).
@JayDubWard@BlockClubCHI Welcome to the neighborhood!
New (and tasty) Vietnamese spot on Argyle just opened last week. Worth a visit and story. It's called DaNang Kitchen: https://t.co/MBri8Rp1mR
@blagojevism FYI: They're actually not suspicious businesses. They've simply all closed down over the past few years (used to be a thriving discount district). My guess is due to a landlord looking to flip, but I'm sure the Amazon economy hasn't helped.
Cherry Blossoms Coming Soon to #JacksonPark. More than 150 cherry blossom trees are getting ready to bloom. We'll keep you posted. Read the @chicagotribune @nschoenbergstory about these beautiful spring flowers at https://t.co/zfyHylVIxR #CHICherryBlossoms
