I keep coming back to one number with @Kinetiq_xyz and it still doesn't sit right with me.

$1B in deposits. 83% of the entire liquid staking market on Hyperliquid. And the token trading at a $35M cap. I've stared at that gap for a while now trying to figure out if I'm missing the catch, because protocols that dominate their category this hard usually don't get priced like an afterthought.

What pulled me in wasn't the APY, honestly. It was realizing kHYPE isn't just sitting there earning yield it's actually moving through the rest of Hyperliquid's DeFi stack. Curve, Pendle, Hyperlend, Felix. That's the part people skip past when they're just comparing staking rates. You're not choosing between "lock my HYPE" or "don't" you're choosing whether your staked position stays useful or goes dead the moment you deposit it.

Then there's Launch, which I think is genuinely the most slept-on piece of this whole thing. New teams trying to spin up their own market on Hyperliquid need a big HYPE stake to do it, and that's a real barrier. Kinetiq built the crowdfunding rail for that. If you zoom out, that's not a staking feature that's Kinetiq quietly becoming the layer new markets get born through. That's a different kind of bet than "will this LST hold its peg."

I'll say what actually gives me pause, too, because I don't think honest means only saying nice things. A $35M cap on a $1B protocol either means the market hasn't caught up, or there's something priced in that I haven't found yet validator concentration, dependency on HYPE price itself, something. I'd rather ask that out loud than pretend the gap is automatically free money.

Before I'd put real size into this, I want to watch two things: how the KNTQ buyback actually performs once it's had a full cycle, and how Launch does with its first few real crowdfunded markets. One of those either confirms the thesis or kills it.
