One of the highlights of my weekend in Lund, Sweden was seeing @ChimamandaReal portrait displayed right in the heart of the city centre.
Standing alongside global icons like @richardbranson, Margot Wallström, and others, her presence was both inspiring and deeply moving.
As a fellow Nigerian, I felt an overwhelming sense of pride. To see one of our own celebrated on such a global stage is a reminder that our stories, ideas, and voices truly matter.

In a political space crowded with noise and optics, Babajide Sanwo-Olu stands out for something rarer: disciplined, substantive leadership.

At a dinner with participants of the Oxford Saïd Business School Advanced Diploma in Global Business (Class of 2025), he engaged an audience accustomed to working systems. Their questions were rigorous; his responses were precise, detailed, and refreshingly free of buzzwords or bravado.

He spoke clearly about Lagos within the broader national vision under @officialABAT, emphasizing continuity and the cumulative nature of governance. He acknowledged predecessors, not as a courtesy, but as a principle.

Just as important was his focus on building future capacity through the Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy a recognition that institutions endure only when talent is deliberately cultivated.

In an environment that often rewards performance over depth, this was a reminder: effective leadership is not loud it is rigorous, coherent, and anchored in systems that work.

We signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Estar, an organisation with digital learning expertise to bring modern digital learning platforms and infrastructure into our public primary and secondary schools.

This partnership will give our students access to curriculum-based tools that support critical thinking, communication, decision-making, leadership, and AI skills. It will also strengthen reading, comprehension, confidence, and classroom participation.

We are investing in the training of our teachers so they can use these tools effectively and deliver more engaging lessons, with a clear focus on preparing our students for the future and improving learning outcomes across the board.
