@maybe30bats In this particular instance, the guy is legitimately setting a boundary. Unfortunately, just setting a boundary with an intimate partner is unhelpful. Relationships require communication and compromise, neither of which I am seeing.

@maybe30bats I would add that boundaries can also encompass actions that might impact me or someone close to me. For example: You call me a name, I tell you that I don't appreciate you name calling and want you to stop. That's a boundary not a demand.
