ON A WHOLE NEW LEVEL 🤯
The women’s world record in the marathon skips the 2:13s and 2:12s as Ethiopian Tigist Assefa runs an incredible 2:11:53 at the 2023 Berlin Marathon to knock 131 seconds off the prior record.
The 2016 Olympian over 800m has clearly found her event, running a 66:20-65:33 negative split to claim the win in historic fashion.
We travelled alllll the way across the state to participate in the @galvestonisd Beach Run. Out of 36 teams, our boys finished 3rd and girls finished 7th with three in the top ten! Lots of team bonding and fun was had. We will be back! @JordanClack3@CoachJesseRizo
