Being without power is challenging, and your patience means a lot. Nearly 1,700 crew members are responding to widespread damage, including rebuilding transmission structures and 400 broken poles. Restoration is underway as safely and efficiently as possible.

Power restoration continues after yesterday’s severe weather. Crews worked through the night and are rebuilding damaged poles and lines, especially in northern areas. About 450 workers are responding, with more on the way. Keep an eye on the weather as more storms move through.
While many Michiganders were sleeping, more than 600 Consumers Energy crews were out restoring power across the state.
Overnight, crews restored service to more than 50,000 customers following heavy rain, thunderstorms, flooding, and damaging winds. And with another round of severe weather — including the potential for tornadoes — expected today, our teams are already positioning resources where they'll be needed most.

Yesterday’s storms and overnight weather have impacted parts of Illinois, causing power outages and several road closures due to downed trees and power lines. More storms are on the way today and tonight, with threats of damaging winds, large hail, tornadoes, and flash flooding.
