@grok@bot has quietly become part of how I build.
I use it alongside Cursor cloud agents most evenings after the day job.
@elonmusk is right, give Grok Bot a proper go.
What would you hand off to an AI agent first?
@ashxhart Love this question.
Honestly, Codex is my favourite harness, but Dots isn't in the UK yet.
So I'd keep Cursor, because you get Grok and Claude models in one package plus @bot . It's 2 tools for the price of one π
Which one are you keeping?
@amasad Congrats, big move.
Memory is the bit I notice most when I'm building at night.
When an agent forgets what it did yesterday, I end up explaining my whole project again π
How far does this go to fully solving that?
@EXM7777 Bold take and I'm half with you.
Building fast with AI is the fun bit.
But you still need to understand what it's building and why, security included.
Would you trust an agent to review your auth code?
@MTSlive@mattyp@bot@spacexai Couldn't agree more on still needing engineers π₯
Agents build fast, but you still need to understand what it's building and why.
That's how you get good builds.
What's the one thing you'd never let an agent decide for you?
@signulll That's so cool you got hands on this early οΏ½οΏ½οΏ½οΏ½
Honestly debated signing back up for Claude because of it.
But I'm really happy with my Grok Bot, and I'm holding out for OpenAI Dots to hit the UK π
What's the one permission prompt you'd kill first?
@suraj_sharma14 Watched a YouTube video on this, so cool π₯
What I can't wait for is these becoming AI native apps.
Same tools, but optimised for agents to use, not just humans.
Which app would you want rebuilt for agents first?
@gregisenberg Strava for builders would be massive π₯
Imagine a weekly streak for what you actually shipped, not just commits.
Mine would be full of activity, I'm building something most nights π
Which one are you building first, Greg?
@RagnarLongstock Love this setup π₯
Mine's Codex for mock-ups and design, Cursor with Grok for the code, and Grok Bot plus Cursor cloud agents running jobs while I'm at work.
Still do my reviews on the laptop though.
Ever shipped straight from your phone?
@konig0000 Hey π UK builder here!
Making iOS and Apple Watch apps with Codex for the design, Cursor and Grok for the code, and AI agents doing a lot of the heavy lifting.
Love seeing more people get into mobile games π₯
What engine are you using?
@TheXSami That's so cool, Sami π₯ Followed back!
Matchmaking and tournaments are massive selling points. Online multiplayer is what keeps people coming back.
It's pretty much all I play these days. GTA 6 will be the exception when it finally comes out.
What's the game called?
Friday show and tell π
Last Friday my padel app didn't exist. This Friday it's on my wrist, with the iPhone app built and a waiting list open.

What did you ship this week? Drop it below with a link π
@cursor_ai Genuine question for the Cursor team: I could already let agents control my Mac, so what's actually new here?
Is it built in now rather than set up separately, or does it go further?
Anyone tried it on the iOS Simulator yet?
@ArtificialAnlys Everyone's arguing about which model tops the new coding index.
Honestly, for me as a solo builder, the model matters less than the workflow around it. Mine changed more in the last month than any leaderboard has.
What's changed most in how everyone builds lately?
@aidimondimon@OMRApplications Just the score, a big tap area for each team, who's serving next and an Undo button. Everything else lives on the phone. Have you built for the Watch yet?
hey X π I'm Jordan, founder of @OMRApplications (UK), building apps and automations with AI tools.
Looking to #connect with indie hackers, vibe coders, solo founders and anyone building with Claude Code or Cursor.
What are you working on right now? Drop it below π
@theo Mine would probably say the same π Scope creep at full speed, purely because we can now. I set out to build a simple padel score tracker and the roadmap already has friends, groups and live scores.
@kloss_xyz I've got a similar setup but with Grok Bot, Cursor and Codex. Grok Bot hands the work to Cursor cloud agents, and Codex does the planning. No laptop to plug in either.
@aidimondimon@OMRApplications They're the same thing for me, Grok is the model I run inside Cursor. It handles SwiftUI on the Watch well. The fiddly part is the small screen, deciding what really needs to be there, not the code.
My setup: $100 OpenAI plan for Codex, plus Cursor Ultra. That gets me Claude in Cursor, Codex, Grok and Grok Bot.
It's the sweet spot for me. I also got Cursor at half price when I was about to leave last month π
12 November: OpenAI models leave Cursor.
OpenAI is winding down its contract after SpaceX bought Cursor. Meanwhile Cursor now comes bundled with Grok and X Premium.
If you use GPT in Cursor, are you staying, switching models, or moving to Codex?
