Democrats candidate for congress in NY23 -Aaron Gies - marched in the East Aurora July 4th (actually 3rd) parade. Republican incumbent Nick Langworthy was a no show. But did show up last year to vote for the One Big Beautiful Bill that took away food and healthcare.
@NassauExec But the average tax bill in Nassau County is four times higher than the national average. New York doesn’t want what you have in Nassau County.
@RepTenney@POTUS Trillion dollar cuts to Medicaid, hundreds of billions of dollar cuts to SNAP last year. Which Tenney voted for. Next year billion dollar cuts to Medicare and Social Security. Which Tenney will vote for if she’s re-elected.
@RepMikeLawler Lawler is responsible for this. A lady asked a question at a Lawler town hall in Somers and he had her physically removed by the State Police.
The Supreme Court ruled 6-3: born here means citizen. Claudia Tenney (R-NY24) filed a brief arguing the opposite. Three justices agreed with her. Six didn’t — including two Trump appointees. https://t.co/83ukYXYJfL #SCOTUS#BirthrightCitizenship#NY24#Tenney
Claudia Tenney (R-NY24) sponsored a bill last year, the Constitutional Citizenship Clarification Act. Two-thirds of it was already law. The Supreme Court just ruled the rest unconstitutional. https://t.co/WMnqlqD12a
@RepTenney@claudiatenney Rep. Tenney’s outrage is hypocritical. She voted for the One Big Beautiful Bill that took food and healthcare away from children…children. Including thousands in her own district. And she supports deportation policies that have put 5000 children into ICE and CBP detention.
@SenEricSchmitt 250,000 babies born to undocumented immigrants annually. U.S. population: 360,000,000. That’s 0.07%, hardly disastrous. The 14th Amendment says “all persons born or naturalized” are citizens. If framers wanted to exclude immigrant children, they would have. They didn’t.
@NassauExec Blakeman is Nassau County executive overseeing tax bills that are four times the national average. I sure hope he doesn’t bring that “tax relief” to the rest of New York.
@RepNicole@WaysandMeansGOP A Republican arguing against the free market and advocating socialist control of pricing. Meanwhile, she voted for the One Big Beautiful Bill that took food support and healthcare away from tens of thousands of her constituents. Maybe hungry children should get priority.
@EliseStefanik Texas’s deregulated grid killed 200+ people in 2021. No communists involved, just profit-maximizing companies that skipped winterization. NY’s energy problems are about infrastructure investment and zoning, not ideology. Blue states don’t have a monopoly on energy failure.
