On my daughter’s wedding day today, I’m thinking...
The Bride eyes not her garment, but her dear Bridegroom’s face.
I will not gaze at glory, but on my King of grace.
Not at the crown He giveth, but on His pierced hands.
Oh, the Lamb is all the glory of Immanuel’s land!
Preach it...
When the Bible says it;
Where the Bible says it;
How the Bible says it;
Why the Bible says it;
And if the Bible doesn’t, don’t.
Opinion and Preference make for really poor preaching!
What a day! Overwhelmed by God’s goodness and grace.
We are your church, Lord, and we are desperate for you!
Thankful for an incredible open door of service with this new location to gather in!
God didn’t want Abraham to sacrifice Isaac. He wanted Abraham to sacrifice Abraham.
“Lord, help me to lay my ambitions, expectations, and human logic at the altar.”
Tomorrow our Church Family meets in our amazing new location for the 1st time!
“I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it...” (Revelation 3:8)
“Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless His holy name.” (Psalm 103:1)
Lessons from Luke:
1) God is using others who are different than me to do His work (9:50).
2) The fact that my name is written down in Heaven is greater cause to rejoice than any ministry success (10:20).
3) Family pedigree means nothing, if I’m not obedient to Christ (11:28).
Merry CHRISTmas from the Delp’s! It’s all about JESUS! Did you make room for the King today or follow the Innkeeper by having “No Room!”?
Bow down and worship the King 🙌🏽
This morning we take Jenny Wren in for an MRI, so that doctors can see how extensive this cancer is. Please, pray!
We’re comforted with the assurance that the Great Physician already sees, knows, can heal, and best of all, He cares!
Tonight is our "neighborhood" Christmas open house . . . last year we had 16 come . . . pray with us as we host our neighbors in our home tonight . . .
Would appreciate prayer for one of my heroes, Pastor David Smith, in Pennsylvania.
He had a bad fall and fractured his back in three places. He is in pain at home, but is doing well considering.
He sure means much to me.
Thank you!
When someone challenges/questions me - I hope I always respond like this: listen; evaluate; humble myself; make changes where I am wrong; improve where I am right.
Please pray for my dad as he is in the hospital with pneumonia and Covid. Been a rough two weeks for him as symptoms have continued to worsen. He went to ER today, then was transferred to a Covid hospital in Boston.
Have you ever wondered what a church full of Pharisees would be like?
1. They would all attend every service.
2. They would all tithe.
3. They would all work in the church.
4. They would all go to Hell!
