@Jade__Lancaster Yes when it’s a conclusion of the story or something it tends to work more though I’m still not a huge fan

My historical fiction hot take is that a framing device of someone in the modern age researching the story, speaking to someone who was there, uncovering the truth only ever make the story worse. There’s a reason most adaptations of such books cut out these sections completely
