UPDATE Manor School is still without power. The original 1958 and the replaced 1970 wiring under the parking lot is proving to be a challenge. Crews continue to work. Thanks to all for your response and understanding.

For those in the media, Manor School in HF-L will be closed tomorrow. It is our Grades 2-5 building. The staff will report. We had a transformer fail in tonight's high winds and repairs will leave the building without power until repairs are complete tomorrow.

Witness tells me there was a large police/emergency personnel presence in Letchworth State Park near Highbanks Recreation Area yesterday near the gorge around 4:30 p.m. State Park police declined comment just now. Working to get details.

Which means I wouldn't have such a great home for my children.

But to act this way is unacceptable considering they are highly state funded.
