HEDSO joined the COP kick-off meeting convened by Coalition on Violence Against Women (COVAW) to advance action on #TFGBV.
Key discussions focused on workplans, referral systems, practitioner mapping, and joint advocacy. A strong step toward coordinated efforts to protect women .
We met the Director of Public Health, Mr. Fredrick Odhiambo Oluoch, to kick-start our Sickle Cell Awareness Initiative in Kisumu.
He pledged support, including 5 Community Health Promoters across key sub-counties.
